BTS’s New Choreographer Moved to Korea for 6 Months! Do you wonder what 3J’s “Butter” Choreographer Nick Joseph Said About 3J?

HYBE brings together the most talented people in the world. HYBE teamed up with Nick Joseph for the Megan Thee Stallion “Butter” remix performance where 3J aka Jimin, J-Hope and Jungkook danced together. The 3J performance video surpassed 1 million views in less than 1 hour. 3J’s costumes, hair and facial expressions were highly in sync with the dance.

The briefing from Nick Joseph was: “I’m going to live in Korea for the next 5-6 months and do K-Pop work. When I was initially offered the offer, I turned it down haha. I did what we all do… we deny our creative value because we say, “We deserve it and we don’t. I don’t know if I’m not doing it.”

Nick Joseph remained in mandatory quarantine after he went to Korea, and towards the end of his quarantine, he shared an Instagram video of him choreographing the dance, adding: “There are currently a few days until the end of quarantine, so I prepared myself to prepare for what’s going to happen. It’s just I’m the one who actively manages my creativity with a warm-up :) (Note: Nike is not the sponsor of the video despite the lyrics and harmony😂)”

Nick then shared a window display of the HYBE building, which we think has the HYBE emblem. So it started working like August…

Nick had previously choreographed ENHYPEN’s single “Drunk-Dazed”. He choreographed Nick 3J aka Jimin-Jungkook-J-Hope’s triple Butter remix dance. After the video was shared, Nick made the following statement:

“Working with Hybe in Korea is already a crazy experience but being able to personally work with 3/7 of BTS and choreograph this routine for them is so wild! I don’t really understand it yet but what a blessing to spend my time here! “

He also expressed his relationship and experience with 3J as follows:

“With regards to these 3, I really admire 3J’s work ethic as well as their uniquely diverse personalities 😂 (super welcoming and hilarious!) and their extreme dedication to what they do. They just don’t get along at all! More than once to get them to perform at their best. They rehearsed, reviewed and graded, and got the dance done! I really appreciate their effort and care🙏🏾 It was an all-around rewarding experience for them to create something and work with the other performance directors and the film crew! There’s still a lot of time here so I’m looking forward to other things. 🙂감사하다 (Thanks)!”
