The music video for BTS’s second all-English song “Butter” has reached 500 million views nearly 2.5 months after its release on YouTube as of May 7, 2021. “Butter” MV became BTS’ 11th music video to surpass 500 million views. “Butter” reached 108.2 million views within 24 hours of its release, making it the most watched music video on YouTube in 24 hours.
“Butter” obtained records not only on YouTube but also in many other channels. “Butter” took first place on the U.S. Billboard Hot 100 chart for 7 consecutive weeks, and remained at the top for 9 weeks in total.
