Space Music Entertainment had to clarify the lightning-fast disbandment of the shortest-lived (5 days) K-Pop girl group Solia.
Solia made history as the fastest K-pop group to disband just 5 days after their official debut. Since debuting as an idol is the dream of many trainees, and both the agency and the debuting members put in financial and moral effort to debut, Space Music Entertainment, the girl group’s label for Solia, has released their official statement:
Solia’s disbandment has some misconceptions that have led to misunderstandings, and we’re here to correct them. Solia broke up after discussions between the team and the company. Each member had different career paths popping up in their minds. After much thought, we decided to disband the team. We were working on a new song and non-face-to-face performances were going on, but after thinking about different career paths, we broke up as a team. We shelved the new song and music video and decided to leave with good memories. We wanted to share these facts with you, which are different from those described in the media. In the future, members will find their own career paths based on their personalities and plans. The company will support the career events the members choose, and we hope their fans will continue to encourage them. Thank you.
We wish the members of Solia success in their new career paths…
