How many days do you think the shortest-lived Girl Group SOLIA may have lived?
Debuting on August 17, 2021, the girl group SOLIA announced that they were disbanding exactly 5 days after their debut. SOLIA was a 5 member kpop girl group and debuted with their album “DREAM”. SOLIA’s Instagram account and promotions started on June 16.
SOLIA’s agency Space Music Entertainment released the following statement regarding the disbandment of the group:
“Hello, we’re SOLIA. We’re sorry to surprise you with this unfortunate news out of the blue.
Due to the current circumstances, the company can no longer continue SOLIA, so we came to complete our activities after long discussions with the company. It was such a short time, but we would like to thank our fans who supported and loved us during this time, and also apologize.
If you are curious about the individual activities or daily lives of the members, please follow the individual Instagram accounts of the members. Once again, we apologize to our fans.”
Members of the group shared their views on this sudden dissolution from their own accounts. Soree addressed her fans on her Instagram account:
“Even though I’m sorry for the short time we spent together, I was able to promote happily thanks to the members and fans who supported us. Thank you for always supporting me and showing interest even when I’m lacking! Even though my time as SOLIA’s Soree is over Also, please continue to support me in the future!”
Eunbi wrote “Thank you and I’m so sorry. I love you so much.” in English on her Instagram story.
A very sad development for the members and supporters of the group… Thus, SOLIA made history as a 5-day K-Pop group.
