ARMYs have known BTS‘s J-Hope, Jimin, and Jungkook as the “3J” subunit since their first official performance four years ago.
And this is our 3 boys realized they want to change the name of the subunit! 😅 😅

“Triple J” didn’t get Jimin‘s approval, so they then suggested “SAM J” as an alternative to 3J.
However, the name made Jungkook think of spicy Korean food! 🤣 🤣
That sounds like ssamjjang!

Jimin then suggested “SAM JE” which has a very different meaning in Korean.
