Pledis Entertainment has renewed the contracts of all SEVENTEEN members earlier than expected. The SEVENTEEN group, which made their debut in 2015, would normally expire in 2022. In a way, the reason behind the SEVENTEEN members’ decision to renew their contracts is to make their fans happy. SEVENTEEN and Pledis Entertainment have decided to continue working together for a while. Pledis Entertainment’s statement on the subject is as follows:

“Hello. We are PLEDIS Entertainment.

PLEDIS Entertainment would like to announce that all members of our group SEVENTEEN (S.COUPS, JEONGHAN, JOSHUA, JUN, HOSHI, WONWOO, WOOZI, THE 8, MINGYU, DK, SEUNGKWAN, VERNON and DINO) have re-signed their contracts.

In the six years since their debut in 2015, SEVENTEEN has solidified their position as Korea’s top artists based on mutual trust and support with PLEDIS Entertainment.

Although their previous contracts have not expired yet, the thirteen members of SEVENTEEN and our company have undergone deep reflections on the group’s vision for the future, resulting in a clear consensus and both parties re-signing their contracts ahead of schedule.

The SEVENTEEN members explained the importance of the renewed contract and their determination for the future, saying, “All thirteen members agreed that we will continue to be together in the trust and strong teamwork we have developed over the years, and ‘One Team’ SEVENTEEN is a wonderful gift to their fans around the world will continue to strive to present music and performances.”

At PLEDIS Entertainment, we will continue to provide SEVENTEEN’s full support for their group and individual activities and will strive to remain a trusted helper and committed supporter. We will also develop sustainable and long-term plans for the group’s Korean and international activities so that we can grow with the artists.

We ask all fans to continue to show their love and support for SEVENTEEN and ask that they keep their eyes on the exciting future that SEVENTEEN and PLEDIS Entertainment will create together.”
