As we all know, BTS is the most well-known K-Pop group in the world, and the names of its members are known even to people who don’t listen to K-Pop. But what some fans don’t know and wonder is how their siblings are! Most of the group’s brothers and sisters tend to stay out of the limelight, and some are more well-known than others, but we know at least a little bit about each of them. Some members of BTS are very protective of their siblings and try their best not to disturb them, which is really admirable! Take a look at the 8 siblings of BTS members and what we know about them based on the information shared by the idols!
1. Jin
Jin is one of the three members of BTS who has older brothers! Although his name is Kim Seok Jung and his exact age is unknown, the two seem close enough to have a loving relationship with each other. Seok Jung seemed to support Jin to continue his idol career and even went on the Wings Tour as a VIP guest!
Seok Jung got married on August 8, 2020, with a wedding attended by Jin and other BTS members. Jin hosted the event for which his older brother thanked him, and Seok Jung also sang for the event with Lee Hyun, proving the musical talent in the family.

He also has an Instagram account with the name @kimbutter_daddy, who recently changed his name due to BTS‘ song “Butter“!

2. Suga
Suga is another BTS member who has an older brother. His name is Min Geum Jae (also known as Min Junki) and he was born in 1989 and is about four years older than Suga. He used to be on Instagram as @goldjay89 but he apparently deleted his account unfortunately!
He actually featured in one of Suga‘s songs in his first mixtape under the name Agust D solo! His voice can be heard on the track “Skit” while he and Suga are chatting in a cafe.
In late 2020, Geum Jae shared a cute picture of himself and Suga when they were little, with a cute side hat hinting at Suga‘s future life as a world-renowned rapper and artist! ❤️❤️
Geum Jae also informed fans when Suga had shoulder surgery, showing that they have a close and loving relationship.
3. J-Hope
J-Hope is the only member of BTS to have an older sister! Her name is Jung Dawon and she is arguably the most recognizable of all the siblings of BTS. She’s four years older than J-Hope but she looks so beautiful and young that it’s impossible to tell!
Her Instagram account name is @mejiwoo103 and she has over 9 million followers! She’s basically a celebrity in his own right and has a passion for the fashion industry. She even runs several different companies, including fashion company AJ Look, e-commerce site Mejiwoo, and eyewear brand Fun the Metal! She has many of her own products on her social media accounts, which she models flawlessly.
Furthermore, she is a YouTuber where he has a total of over 30 million views on all her videos. And last March, she signed a contract with Cube Entertainment as a YouTuber and even worked with K-Pop idols like (G)I-DLE‘s Yuqi!

She’s also an ARMY and said her first bias in the group was Jungkook, but eventually changed her mind to Jimin. She also got married earlier this year on May 5, with a wedding attended by her brother and some other BTS members!
4. RM
RM is one of the two members of BTS that has a sister! Her name is Kim Kyung Min and she was born in 1997 so she is about three years younger than RM. Although little is known about her, RM once admitted that he most wanted to introduce her sister to Jimin of all the members of the group!
While RM is seriously protecting Kyung Min‘s identity, he once shared a text chat the two of them had when his sister excitedly told him how well he did in his English exam, and he praised him for it! It is clear that these two love each other very much.
5. Jimin
Jimin is one of the two members of the group who has a younger brother. Not much is known about him like his name is Park Ji Hyun and other BTS members’ siblings. However, he once appeared in the background of a vlog that Jimin shot in Busan!
He shared some stories about the two when the two were younger, including when he “playfully” slapped Ji Hyun and got his in trouble for it, and when he encouraged his younger brother to prepare for his future. He regretted the pressure he thought he might have put on Ji Hyun. But overall, they look like an absolutely adorable and close pair of siblings!
6. V
V is the only member of BTS to have two siblings: a sister named Kim Eun Jin and a brother named Kim Jong Gyu. V didn’t talk much about either of them, but judging by how emotional he got talking about them, it’s clear that he loves and misses his siblings very much.
7. Jungkook
Finally, the third member who is Jungkook‘s older brother! Although his name is Jeon Jung Hyun and his age is unknown, all fans know about him is that he is a talented artist! He used to share his work on Instagram before deactivating his account.
