BTS members are shooting the performance of “Life Goes On” for the 2020 American Music Awards (AMA). The date is November 22, 2020. During the break, we observe BTS members Taehyung and Jimin for a phone call. Let’s watch what’s going on (English Subtitles):
Isn’t it great? We always express how important family is to Taehyung in his profile posts. Here, too, he calls his dad to celebrate her grandmother’s 70th birthday and expresses how sorry that he couldn’t be there because of the filming of the music video. Of course, he didn’t stay empty-handed, he sent them on a wonderful holiday!
You know, Taehyung’s grandmother raised him for 14 years and passed away on September 4, 2016. On the day he passed away, BTS received their first award with “Blood, Sweat and Tears” at Music Bank… V had mourned the death of his grandmother for a long time. He announced this at the “Third Muster” concert on November 11, 2016 and burst into tears. It was again Jimin who hugged him to comfort him. Those seconds were one of the saddest and most emotional moments in BTS history. Here are those moments:

By the way, it’s also nice that Jimin and Jin call Taehyung’s father “dad”. If you remember, Jimin called Jungkook’s mom “mom” before. We understand that BTS is not just a family of seven, but a giant family of a family of a seven! ARMY is undoubtedly a part of this giant family!
