On the first day of its release, the song Butter single was listened to 11,042,355 times in the first 24 hours on Spotify. Butter thus broke the first 24-hour record (10.977 million streams) of Ed Sheeran and Justin Bieber’s 2019 hit “I Don’t Care”. Spotify announced the success of Butter on her social media account: “@ BTS_twt’s latest song” Butter “broke the all-time record by showing the biggest breakout on Spotify’s global chart.
