The COVID-19 period has affected the functioning of the world in many respects. K-Pop has also been affected by the COVID-19 process. How did BTS spend their time during this one-and-a-half year spent with at home? BTS members answered this question in an interview with Z100 New York.
Suga answered the question, “If it weren’t for the pandemic, we wouldn’t have had a “Dynamite” or BE album. That’s for sure because we would be on tour. I think it worked out well for us because we tried to do our best in this bad time . We worked together more than ever, so the BE album was made and released.”
RM’s answer was supportive of Suga. RM replied, “We really spent a lot of time together, chatting, talking about our future and our past. The 7 of us spent more time together and talked about everything. This time period was ours to stop the moment and look forward to 2021. It made us think deeply about BTS.”
We also witness that BTS is working hard during the pandemic period. When the pandemic first began to spread, BTS’ concerts were being canceled one by one. I’m sure BTS members were pretty depressed during this period. However, BTS had no intention of stopping. Together with a Dynamite song that can’t get enough of the Billboard awards, they presented us the BE album they prepared with their own hands. They have also increased the speed recently, in an interview given by V a few months ago, we heard that they were working 4-5 times more than usual. Congratulations guys!
