TXT members are a group known for their average height as well as their talent. All the members in the group are quite tall, the shortest is Taehyun. In fact, Taehyun‘s height is 1.77 m. In other words, he is not at all short in stature, but it is a fact that he is slightly below the group average when compared to other group members, the others are not less than 1.80 m.
On a show for 1theK, when the TXT members were reading their promos and talking about height, Taehyun suddenly said “I don’t want to see this”. The other members and crew started laughing. Taehyun added: This made me nervous. To Taehyun’s displeasure, he continued to read the information about himself: “He is the shortest and only person in his 170s”. After reading the comment, Taehyun warned those who found him short: “Don’t come near me, you’ll get in trouble.”
Soobin comforted Taehyun by explaining that Taehyun is only short inside the group, but is considered tall outside: “He’s short in our group, but tall everywhere.”
Taehyun’s height seemed to be over, until the TXT members read the comments: “He wanted to be 183cm tall. His previous Weverse nickname was “TAEHYUN Future Height 183″.”. So Taehyun wished he would reach 1.80’s from the very beginning.
Taehyun confirmed that the comment was correct and “Yeah, it is. I just wish my growth hormones worked a little harder.”
Don’t blame Taehyun, the boy has no problem, 1.77 m where seen short but right!
