On June 23, 2021, it was reported that THE BOYZ was the target of sasaengs. Sasaengs, known as fan-followers who invade the privacy of the artists, broke into THE BOYZ’s dormitory buildings and illegally filmed the private area.
Sasaengs had once again entered THE BOYZ’s dormitory building recently. After the sasaengs entered the building, the police were notified. THE BOYZ’s agency Cre.Ker Entertainment took up the matter and harshly warned the sasaengs. The agency warned that anyone who commit similar crimes will be banned from fan activity and will also be punished by the police.

“Today at dawn, the sasaengs secretly entered the dormitory building and waited. After noticing them, we reported them to the police and the cops came. Some of the sasaengs who tried to escape were caught. We leave this matter to the law and demand that they be punished for what they did.
Members’ resting areas were also filmed, and even the dormitory building, which was supposed to be a privacy space, was sneaked into. The sasaengs who were waiting for the members and trying to talk to them, or even filming them, carried out such acts that caused serious physical and mental discomfort to the artists and staff.
We hope you will also put an end to inconveniences such as visiting artists, obtaining their contact numbers illegally, and constantly calling or texting. Once again, we ask you not to take actions that will benefit yourself by harming others, and we ask your cooperation to prevent further harm to the artists.”
