In the past hours, multiple Saudi Arabian STAYs (Stray Kids fans) were rumored to have disappeared after a delayed concert.
On January 14, Stray Kids was going to perform at Riyadh Season, the biggest music festival in Saudi Arabia, but the concert had to be canceled due to harsh weather conditions. Unfortunately, the fans had already gathered at the stadium and suddenly faced transportation problems.
Reports began to circulate on Twitter that “dangerous” and “unknown” men were abducting girls at the venue.
Upon hearing the news, international fans of various fandoms gave their support by sharing tips and resources to help the missing. Several Twitter Areas have also been created to communicate with people who are lost or need help.
Hours later, Saudi Arabian fans returned from the venue, declaring that the actual situation was “calm and safe,” contrary to what was circulating online. In the videos, they showed the police helping and protecting the fans.

The situation was calm and safe. There were police and people there helping each other. Everything that was written here on Twitter was a lie. There was no kidnapping or anything like that. Saudi Arabia is very safe#متضررين_الكونسرت

Buses run by STAYs have helped many girls get home safely. In the end, they insisted that the situation was very different from what was shown on Twitter.
A Saudi Arabian news site has confirmed that it is not true that the fans were abducted. They stated that those who continue to spread rumors will be prosecuted.
Those who circulate on social media about harassment at a concert in Riyadh, which was postponed for reasons beyond our control, and those who spread these rumors that reduce the efforts of the security forces, have no truth. Those who spread these rumors will be subject to prosecution and legal liability.

Some fans said to be missing have been found safely. But some missing persons were not real, they were completely fabricated.
The confusion that ensued after the concert was canceled has led people to believe their loved ones are missing. Fortunately, all the fans returned home safe and sound.
