The K-Pop boy idol group popularity rankings for May 2021 have been published. The Korean Business Research Institute determined this month’s brand reputation rankings for male idol groups through an analysis of consumer engagement, media coverage, and community indexes of various boy groups, using big data collected from April 8 to May 8.
BTS has been at the top of the list for the 36th month, yeah, now for three years. Top expressions in BTS’s keyword analysis include “YouTube”, “Billboard” and “Butter.
NCT is in second place for the eighth consecutive month, maintaining its second position in May.
SEVENTEEN is in third place for the past two months. In May, “ Highlight ” is in fourth place with a surprise entry. Fifth place is SHINee .
