K-Pop female idol group popularity rankings for August 2021 have been released. This month’s brand reputation rankings for female idol groups were determined through analysis of consumer participation, media coverage, interaction, and community indexes of various female groups using big data collected from July 15, 2021 to August 15, 2021, as expressed by Korea Business Research Institute.
BLACKPINK rose to the top of the chart in August. Phrases that ranked high in the group’s keyword analysis included “BLACKPINK: The Movie,” “Oricon,” and “Jennie.”
aespa has been at number one for the past two months. They dropped to second place this month.
In third place is Red Velvet, which is in preparation for a new mini-album.
Brave Girls still seems to be in the top five of the list.
