Mnet’s latest girl group audition program, set to air in August, Girls Planet 999: The Girls Saga has revealed their mentors. Among the mentors there are also our acquaintances. For example, Girls’ Generation’s Tiffany and Sunmi have been officially selected as mentors for this girl idol group contest. Tiffany and Sunmi are second generation girl group members and are very experienced in K-Pop. It is certain that the new female idols will be good educators and guides.
Sunmi stated that she and Tiffany may have very different perspectives on performance and music. However, they believe that different styles can overcome their differences because of the chemistry between them.
The dance choreographer will be Baek Gu Young. He’s the one who choreographed for famous idols and groups like Baek Gu Young, BoA, TVXQ, Taemin, and Kai. In addition, Jang Joo Hee, dancer of successful idols such as Sunmi, Girls’ Generation Taeyeon, and IZ*ONE, also acts as an expert in choreography and dance.
Voice trainer Lim Han Byul, also known as ONESTAR in the vocal part, will be the biggest voice trainer of the competition. He has helped many idols like EXO, NCT, and Weki Meki before. Cho Ah Young, who has worked with TWICE and AB6IX, will also be responsible for the audio part.
