It’s undeniable that Netflix’s new K-Drama, Squid Game, is taking over the world. Despite its dark story and violent nature, it has captured the hearts of people around the world and fed the imaginations of the audience with its incredible set images. It seems that even idols fell in love with the game!
Recently, MAMAMOO met with Access Hollywood to discuss topics from music to performances and more.
First, they were asked which outfit they would choose if they had to go to a Halloween party. Considering the success of K-Drama, Moonbyul suggested that they all dress up as Squid Game characters.
Solar was the first to choose the character and chose “The Square” instead of a specific character. The “Square” she chose is not only one of the symbols on the business card, but one of the shapes seen on the masks of the managers.
As the group leader, it’s undeniable that Solar would be the perfect person to control the participants. But it would certainly be a pity if she had to cover up her dazzling beauty with a mask comb. 😔
Moonbyul was next and chose the character played by Lee Byung Hun (the black masked leader). Really great choice!
Also, it looks like Moonbyul, not Solar, will be the boss with this election!
When it came to the selections of Hwasa and Wheein, both of them chose to be one of the participants. Wheein chose the iconic Sae Byeok played by Jung Ho Yeon.
There’s no denying that they’re both real leads, and Wheein plays the part of one of the troublesome characters perfectly! With his fire, arrogance and determination, he definitely makes money for other characters!
Hwasa made her choice in favor of the participants and chose Participant 001, known as Ilnam. The old man had won the hearts of audiences worldwide with his charisma, determination and passion.
All of these are already Hwasa‘s traits, and despite the age difference, she’s the perfect fit for the group’s maknae!
