K-Pop Female Idol Rankings June 2021

The Korea Business Research Institute has revealed this month’s individual brand reputation rankings for idol girl group members. The rankings were determined by analyzing the consumer engagement, media coverage, communication and community awareness indexes of the 540 girl group members using big data collected from May 20, 2021 to June 20, 2021.

aespa Karina rose to the top of the list in June, with a staggering 331.13 percent increase in her brand reputation index since May. Phrases that rank high in Karina’s keyword analysis include “Next Level”, “teaser” and “singing talent”.

Notably, all four members of aespa made it to the top seven on the list, with Winter at number 4, Giselle at number 5 and Ningning at number 7. In short, aespa started to sit at the top.

BLACKPINK Jennie took second place with a brand reputation index of 3,621,099. Jennie has recorded a modest 8.45 percent increase in her score since May.

Oh My Girl’s Arin came in third with a brand reputation index of 3,440,350, up 4.89 percent in her score since last month.

The Brave Girls members have been playing to the top of the chart for months, and this month they’re still in the top 10. However, the downturn seems to have begun for Brave Girls.
