When it comes to dancers in K-Pop, one male idol who has always been at the top of fan favorite lists is BTS’s Jimin! Since debuting, Jimin has wowed fans with his diverse dance skills from years of practice and training in different styles.
Over the years, ARMYs have watched Jimin dance to the songs with their heart, putting their own interpretation of the songs and adding extra meaning to the lyrics and music.
Still, Jimin seems to have this ability before he debuted. A TikTok account caught the attention of ARMYs after they shared a video of the seemingly never-before-seen Jimin dance.
User @keljoven revealed that they have a popper (dancer) friend from Korea, and after looking at his phone, he realized that this old video belonged to BTS’ Jimin and asked them to upload the video, even though he didn’t want his name shared.
There’s no denying that the one in the video is Jimin with his youthful looks and crazy talent, he even looked so young back then. The user explained that his friends said that Jimin is very shy when he dances, but will enter the race because of his love of dance.
Throughout the clip, Jimin showcased his talent and skills, and it was clear that the other dancers appreciated his talents as well. The friend later added that they would hang out and eat after the race, and even expressed a desire to become an idol at the time.
When the video was first shared, viewers in the comments noticed how good Jimin was even back then. Jimin always shows how much natural talent he has.
While this clip is new, it’s not the first time fans have learned of Jimin’s background as a dancer. It is well known that Jimin has always shined as a dancer and will participate in dance and street races.
It was even shared that he was recognized as the “Rising Star” of Busan due to his talent and willingness to perform. He had fans even before he became a trainee.
Fast forward to 2021 and you’ll see that Jimin continues to capture the hearts of fans around the world with his beautiful dance. From pop, hip hop and lyric, he continues to showcase his skills in every single performance. It’s not surprising that the actors and choreographers couldn’t help but share their appreciation.
