iKON has joined the online fan meeting platform Weverse, thus becoming the second YG Entertainment group to join Weverse. TREASURE has alreadt joined Weverse.
iKON is considering posting a video of Mnet’s “Kingdom: Legendary War” on Weverse that includes behind-the-scenes footage from episodes 3 and 4. iKON will continue to share their previously unpublished photos and videos on Weverse.
YG Entertainment previously announced its plans to strengthen its strategic partnerships with HYBE (formerly Big Hit Entertainment) and Weverse Company. YG Entertainment stated, “As we build an innovative model that can provide new experiences to fans, our vision is to leverage the global strength of our agency’s artists to expand their influence.”
iKON most recently released their digital single song “Why Why Why” in March. Besides, iKON also participated in Mnet’s “Kingdom: Legendary War” idol groups game show.
