HYBE designs credit cards exclusively for K-Pop lovers, featuring images of BTS and other Weverse artists. The number of K-Pop artists on Weverse is increasing day by day. Your favorite artists such as BTS, TXT, SEVENTEEN, TREASURE can appear on your card.
South Korean credit card company Shinhan Card announced that HYBE has collaborated with Weverse company on a new private label credit card (PLCC). PLCC, or store branded credit cards, are created for use with a specific retailer (e.g. Weverse Shop). When fans purchase albums, concert merchandise, and other items from the Weverse Shop with one of these new credit cards, they will receive various benefits and rewards. While Shinhan Card and HYBE have not yet specified what these rewards/gifts will be, benefits include discounts on purchases and earning points to spend on future orders or specials.
Shinhan Card, in a statement about the new collaboration, explained that Weverse credit cards will “offer different products and services in terms of card design and benefits” and create greater satisfaction for customers. While initial designs are expected to include BTS, Weverse currently hosts almost 27 artists who can get their own designs.
Weverse is currently rolling out to 233 locations worldwide, but it’s not yet clear whether Weverse’s private label credit cards will expand beyond South Korea.
