Miyawaki Sakura posted four photos on Instagram today to celebrate her graduation from the mentor agency HKT48, where she debuted 10 years ago in Japan.
What actually happened is that after the disbanding of Sakura IZ * ONE, she was sailing to new lands, completely ending her connections in Japan.
The agency that made an offer to Sakura is allegedly HYBE, or Big Hit Entertainment. HYBE encompasses giant boy groups such as BTS, TXT and ENHYPEN; however they have been falling short on girl groups and is planning to form an ambitious new girl idol group this year. Sakura is a successful star with a serious fan base both in Korea and Japan. I think it will be a very fruitful deal for both parties.
