On July 31, 2021, BTS Suga told Weverse Magazine about his thoughts on Korean Music Shows, which are mandatory for idol groups to attend during promotional periods.

When the promotion period starts, they show up on a different music show every day, which means the artists are exhausted and this fatigue often leads to injuries.”
Regarding the way idol groups work and their promotions, Suga added, “These kinds of music shows are for promotional purposes, so artists can’t earn a decent income from them. Also, if there is no visible result despite all their efforts, they will inevitably lose their morale. Single if possible. “It would be nice to show a really quality performance even on stage, but I can say that it is quite difficult in this environment. And since our work does not fit into the general understanding of work, there are also uncertain boundaries in terms of legal protection.
