In BTS Jimin’s interview with Weverse Magazine dated August 1, 2021, the leather jacket handed down in BTS was mentioned. While chatting about BTS’ 8th anniversary reunion on “ARMY Corner Store” broadcast on BANGTANTV Youtube Channel in the introduction part of his interview, Jimin mentioned the motorcycle leather jacket in question.
The leather jacket in question was first worn by Suga when he debuted. Suga gave his jacket to J-Hope after debut. After J-Hope debuted as well, J-Hope gave this leather jacket to Jimin. Jimin describes this leather jacket as “the driver’s jacket handed down from generation to generation”. Jimin still wears this leather jacket when he feels cold. So the last owner of the leather jacket was Jimin.
For Jimin, clothes with such memories must mean something. Jimin hid his knee-torn black pants during a stage performance where he injured himself at one of his world tour concerts. In an interview last year, he wore trousers with a patch on his torn area.
