BTS flew to the USA from Incheon Airport today to attend the 76th UNGA meetings of the United Nations, and they were at the airport with their sympathetic gestures and striking styles. The hashtag “HAVE A SAFE FLIGHT” stuck to the top in trends…
What is this UNGA? The abbreviation of UNGA is the United Nations General Assembly. Heads of state and similar VIPs, leaders of global NGOs, big donors helping poor countries, etc., attend the General Assembly meetings. It the most important UN event. BTS’s participation is very prestigious, BTS members grab the diplomatic passports for this purpose!
BTS had previously appeared at UNGA meetings in 2018. RM made an iconic and unforgottable speech. Why did we say UN technical team worried in the title? The UN’s internet access infrastructure collapsed when ARMYs were loaded onto the bandwidth before RM could even speak. On September 20, BTS will give a speech and also VCR (pre-recorded video) will return at the meeting. The agenda item BTS will particularly contribute to is the provision of vaccines to poor countries. Vaccination is a controversial and sensitive issue, but the point here is to provide access to vaccines for those who want to be vaccinated and live in poor countries. In countries with low incomes, free vaccines are provided without discrimination over a certain age, but such an opportunity is generally not available in poor countries. Let’s not just say vaccines, there is also an inequality of opportunity in terms of other measures and treatment opportunities. The thing is to reduce it…
