However, BLACKPINK, which gained a huge reputation around the world, has become one of the biggest brand models in the world. Everything they touch is valued like gold because of the power they possess.
Unfortunately, these ads may be the reason why Jisoo, one of the cute members of BLACKPINK, has been the target of unexpected reactions lately.
All the BLACKPINK member did was upload a recent selfie to his Instagram page. Showing one side of her face with her hair in a ponytail, Jisoo said, “Wow, I barely changed it. New phone, cute case.” wrote and shared.

And even though this post was innocently posted by Jisoo to inform her followers about her current life, some netizens started pouring hate comments on Jisoo unfairly – all because she bought an iPhone.
BLACKPINK was known as the previous official promoter for the Samsung brand’s A80 Galaxy phone. Despite their contract with Samsung that expired in August 2020, it seems like some people still have an issue with Jisoo and her using the Apple iPhone. 😡 😡
As soon as Jisoo posted her last selfie, the comment section started to fill up with hate comments about her lack of “loyalty” to Samsung.
- “She has no freaking loyalty…so f*cking filthy.”
- “Jisoo-sshi, I used to be a fan but this changed my perspective. They gave you money and an app. Also, they’re a brand that is keeping South Korea up and running. So with that said, was all of this necessary? I was looking forward to ‘Snowdrop’ with high anticipation to watch pretty Jisoo-sshi. However, I find myself getting disappointed over something like this. I think I find Samsung, the brand that’s keeping South Korea alive, more precious than you Jisoo.”

However, the hateful comments get confusing when you consider the many other photos Jisoo has taken while using an iPhone. In addition, Jisoo isn’t the only BLACKPINK member to do this. Members Jennie, Rosé, and Lisa have previously used iPhones during and after their Samsung contracts.
