About Wonho
Wonho was the 5th trainee to be announced as a member of MONSTA X after survival show “No Mercy”. He worked as an intern for 3 years. Wonho is the longest training trainee by Starship Entertainment.
Shownu was part of NUBOYZ with Jooheon and Gun. While on NuBoyz, he used the name Sino (pronounced Shino).
He is calm and intelligent in character, but easily irritated. According to the other MONSTA X members, Wonho was very sensitive and easy crying. He always takes care of his health because he often gets sick.

Wonho’s Tendency to Bodybuilding and Abs
Wonho is known as the most muscular idol in K-Pop. He likes going to the gym and exercising. He used to exercise a lot before he debuted. Wonho’s Reason for Leaving MONSTA X and the Accusations
Wonho announced his departure from Monsta X on October 31, 2019, in a letter written by himself and published by Starship Entertainment. After the announcement of Wonho’s departure, fans protested to bring him back. On March 14, 2020, Starship made a statement confirming that the investigation was concluded and Wonho was cleared of all charges. On April 9, 2020, it was announced that Wonho had signed a contract as a soloist and producer at Starship Entertainment’s subsidiary Highline Entertainment. He debuted as a soloist with his mini album “Part.1 Love Synonym” on September 4, 2020.
When asked about his ideal type, Wonho replied, “Someone who does Ramyun well.” He answered questions about marriage by saying that he was not interested in marriage. Because her younger brother got married, her family did not put any pressure on Wonho regarding the marriage.
