Dreamcatcher is a K-Pop Girl idol group under the Dreamcatcher company. They have a stronger sound than other Kpop girl groups and their sound can also be defined as psychedelic-rock. Dreamcatcher consists of 7 members: JiU , SuA , Siyeon , Handong , Yoohyeon , Dami and Gahyeon . The band, which made its debut on January 13, 2017 with the single album “Nightmare” under Happyface Entertainment. Happyface Entertainment later changed its name to DreamCatcher Company. (Dreamcatcher originally formed under the name MINX in 18 September 2014, however they opted to re-debut as Dreamcatcher in 2017).
On March 12 2020, it was announced that Handong would participate in the Chinese Idol Production program ‘Youth With You’. During this period, the group continued on its way as 6 members. Handong returned to the band on October 16th 2020.
