The Korea Business Research Institute has released the September 2021 individual brand reputation rankings for girl group members. The rankings were determined by analyzing the consumer engagement, media coverage, communication and community awareness indexes of the 540 girl group members using big data collected from August 19, 2021 to September 19, 2021.
BLACKPINK Lisa topped the list in September 2021, with a staggering 430.47 percent increase in her brand reputation index since August, in which month she could not make the top 30 (she was 33th). Her total score for September reached 5,365,468. Phrases that ranked high in Lisa’s keyword analysis included “YouTube”, “Lalisa” and “Thailand”. Lisa released her first solo album this month.
BLACKPINK Jennie took second place in this month’s ranking with a brand reputation index of 4,439,031, up 18.47 percent from her score since last month. Notably, all four members of BLACKPINK made it to the top 10 in September. Jisoo is at number 6 and Rosé is at number 9.
Red Velvet Joy took third place on the list with a brand reputation index of 2,948,488, an increase of 14.61 percent in its score since August. Hearing about Joy’s relationship with Shin Hyo-seob may have caused her to rise to the brand reputation list.
