Stray Kids Bang Chan is fluent in both English and Korean. A different question came from his fans in a recent live broadcast. One fan wondered if Bang Chan spoke English or Korean in her mind.
Earlier in the live broadcast, Bang Chan was asked how he learned to speak English. Bang Chan said she traveled from Korea to Australia at a very young age and spoke Korean when she was at home. He first learned Korean from his family at home. Having grown up in Australia, he learned to read and write English at school. After some time, Bang Chan has become fluent in English.
Then a different question came from a fan: “Do you think Korean or English?”
Bang Chan said that the language that crosses his mind varies according to the situation. Often he came back and forth between Korean and English. Bang Chan pondered the question a little more and said it was really difficult to answer it. Bang Chan also did not seem to know the answer to the question :)
