In the episode 142 of Run BTS!, BTS members ventured into cooking with chef Baek Jong Won. Baek Jong Won previously participated in another Run BTS! episode. BTS split into two separate groups to cook delicious food.
Towards the end of episode 142, Chief Baek asked the BTS members if they had food allergies. We learned that Jin is allergic to garlic. Jin was allergic to garlic, but more to potatoes.
In the past, BTS V has disclosed that he has cholinergic urticaria, heat-triggered hives, but not a food allergy. However, in this episode, V told Chef Baek in response to the allergy question that he has an allergy to beans.
Jungkook suddenly paid attention and said “What? You’re not allergic to beans”. Jungkook told V “You’re just picky”. It was like the attitude of two brothers who are close in age and spend every minute together.
V told Chef Baek that he couldn’t eat whole beans, but he could better eat tofu, bean sprouts, or split beans. Jungkook interrupted immediately “Not allergic, just picky”. RM also got involved, saying that V’s allergy to beans was a choice, and he smiled. Turns out V didn’t like the mouthfeel of beans.
So Jungkook was right about V’s allergies! :)
