While some celebrity couples have a seemingly lasting love affair, not every K-Pop star relationship has a happy ending. So what happens if idols who have separated from each other have to work together? Rapper DinDin explained it all in the last episode of KBS’s Museum of Broken Relationships.
“It’s actually pretty easy to spot celebrity couples who broke up” DinDin said. OH MY GIRL Seunghee said that he had never experienced such a strange situation before.
Seunghee expressed that if something like this happened to him, he would act normally and not be teasing as long as it was necessary. According to DinDin, this is very possible and normal. “When you shoot a show with a split-up couple, they act really weird at first” the rapper said.
They won’t even look at each other, you know?

DinDin said that the idols’ emotions don’t go away while the cameras are filming the idols and of course they will also get nervous. He especially stated that idols who haven’t made their relationship public can find it much more difficult.
Once the cameras roll, they’re all, ‘Oh, hi! It’s so nice to see you!’. They suddenly become best friends.

But it’s all for show. By the time filming ended, DinDin says the couples began to be completely cold towards each other. The rapper went on to explain that he really turned spotting broken K-Pop couples into a game. 😂
He stated that while filming with a lot of idols, he studied their behavior to find “clues” about their past. He said it’s easier to spot breakups when idols start to get out of their character and act a little weird.
If idols act differently to how they usually would during filming, it’s 100% because their ex is in front of them.
