Official News: Every member of BTS has opened their own personal Instagram account!
They opened their first personal accounts on December 6, 2021, and within an hour of making their first post, they each amassed over 2 million followers. Check out each member’s username and first posts below!
1. RM
RM’s username is @rkive. He chose the name RKIVE in 2018 to reflect his new stage name RM. His first post was the perfect photo for the nature-loving leader relaxing by the ocean!

2. Jin
Jin’s username is just @jin! His first post on Instagram was a behind-the-scenes photo with his cute Squid Game hairstyle at PERMISSION TO DANCE ON STAGE LA.

3. Suga
Suga chose the username @agustd for his personal account! Agust D is Suga’s name for his solo projects; It is formed by reversing the word “Suga” (agus) and adding “DT” in reverse (td), meaning “Daegu Town”, Suga’s hometown. His first post looked like a path in the park!

4. J-Hope
J-Hope’s chosen username @uarmyhope is definitely getting a lot of fans excited! This username combines BTS’s fandom name ARMY with J-Hope’s stage name and the iconic greeting he makes at nearly every show: “I’m your hope. you’re my hope, I’m J-Hope.” His first two posts were photos of the polaroids he took!

5. Jimin
Jimin’s username is very short and stylish: @j.m! His first post was a picture of him that looked totally mesmerizing. Jimin’s caption was simply the hashtag #JIMIN, this hash will definitely be trending even more on the internet once you open the account!

6. V
V’s username is @thv, his initials are Tae Hyung, and his stage name is V! Fans can also attribute it to the nickname “CGV”, which refers to its beautiful, computer-generated and movie-worthy visuals. His first post was a baby dinosaur!

7. Jungkook
Jungkook’s username is definitely the longest of the seven, but it’s also undeniably clever. Username @abcdefghi__lmnopqrstuvwxyz! This is the English alphabet without Jungkook’s initials “JK”. He arranged all the letters in the alphabet and formed them by placing the “_” sign where the letters “J” and “K” were. He posted a picture of the sunset in Santa Monica and his own at SoFi Stadium!

ARMY is so excited to see what BTS members post on Instagram in the future! Maybe we’ll see what they accomplish with their new account, as the BTS members will be taking a long vacation to get their well-deserved rest.
