Ed Sheeran conducted an interview with the American radio show “Most Requested Live” on June 26 to talk about his new single song “Bad Habits”. “I actually worked with BTS on their last song and wrote a song for their new record. They’re also super, super cool”.
On June 27, a source from Big Hit Music told Newsen “Ed Sheeran’s relationship with BTS’ new song is correct .”
BTS will be releasing a CD version of their English hit “Butter” in July, and Big Hit Music has previously announced that it will include a brand new track that will “make your heart beat to the beat of BTS’ positive energy”.
It’s unclear whether BTS’ new collaboration track with Ed Sheeran will be included in the CD version of “Butter” or will be part of a different album to be released in the future. When asked if the song will be released in July, Big Hit Music commented “We can’t reveal the details”.
Ed Sheeran and BTS’ first joint song was “Make It Right” from BTS’ 2019 album “Map of the Soul: Persona”.
