BTS received two awards at the 2020 American Music Awards and they also performed Life Goes On and Dynamite!
The 2020 American Music Awards were held in Los Angeles (USA) on the evening of November 22nd. BTS grabbed awards for “Favorite Duo / Group – Pop / Rock” and “Favorite Social Artist”.
It was the second consecutive award for BTS in the “Most Liked Duo/Group – Pop/Rock” category and the third consecutive award as “Favorite Social Artist”
Because they couldn’t attend the ceremony, BTS shared their gratitude for the awards via a video message.
Jimin began with “Thank you ARMY and AMA for this great honor” and RM added, “We would like Suga to be with us today and celebrate this together”. Jungkook continued, “And we’re sorry we didn’t get this award in person, but we’re still glad we could connect from Seoul.”

At the awards ceremony, they performed their new song “Life Goes On for the first time and performed ” Dynamite “ with colorful / bright suits.
