Berry Good has officially announced their disbandment.
On May 12, JTG Entertainment announced that it was acquired by Star Wave Entertainment. JTG Entertainment decided to disband the group after discussions with Berry Good members. Johyun, who was ongoing with JTG Entertainment, joined Star Wave Entertainment, while Sehyung decided to terminate her contract.
JTG Entertainment’s official statement was like this: “We would like to deeply thank Sehyung for her time as a member of Berry Good amid challenges such as the COVID-19 pandemic. Thank you for caring and loving Berry Good. Please continue to support members who left Berry Good and went their own way. “
Berry Good made her debut by singing Click-B’s song “Love Letter”, released in 2000. Only Johyun and Sehyung remained in the group that experienced the member changes. They had the last promotions with “Time for Me” last January.
