In a new interview with GQ Korea magazine, BTS’ V answered questions about himself, his music, and more. Here are 10 facts about Taehyung from the interview!

1. Who would want to go back in time to meet?

Given the chance, V would like to meet the Greek gods, including Zeus, Poseidon, and Aphrodite, to see what they really were like. How strong is Zeus? Is Aphrodite’s beauty in line with the legends? He wants to know.

2. New MBTI test result

In October, V retakes the MBTI personality test. He learned that he was no longer an ENFP, but an INFP. When asked how the transition from Extrovert to Introvert impacted his work, V replied that he always had to take time for himself to create. Stories he writes in a diary or elsewhere can take months to decipher.

3. List of things he wants to do

V has accomplished a lot in his 8-year career, but he still has a lot of ideas. First, he wants to create a nostalgic song that will stand the test of time and be loved by all music lovers, not just BTS fans. An enduring classic!

4. Sticking to the “V”

V tries to stay true to his values and wants to live in a way he can be proud of. Whether performing on stage or meeting someone new, V wants to be a confident, good character person who isn’t ashamed of how he lived.

5. “Butter” blues

BTS’ song “Butter” was a challenge for V to record. He had to work hard to be able to sing this song because hir voice was lower, but hir hard work paid off. GQ Korea pointed out that V seems like an intrinsically motivated person, and he agreed. He is also motivated by the progress of his members; if they are ahead, he feels compelled to catch up with them quickly.

6. What does Vante do?

V loves film photography but is he taking a lot of pictures these days? Not a lot. He said he doesn’t take many pictures because he doesn’t travel much. When he took pictures abroad, only to capture the unusual sight he had seen on the Internet until then.

7. Sunsets or sunrises?

V prefers to watch the sunset over the sunrise. He said that after he was done with the day’s work, he often told hir manager that he wanted to see the sun go down. By doing this, he ends the V-day on a positive note. According to V, a sunset lasts 19 minutes, which means that he will be happy for 19 minutes.

8. An old soul

GQ Korea pointed out that V is interested in “classic” things like playing the saxophone. V agreed. He feels like a sensitive, emotional person with an interest in nostalgic things like clothes and art. His interest in the old inspires him to do something new.

9. A letter to Yeontan

Unfortunately, V’s dog Yeontan has been struggling with hir health since birth as he has respiratory diseases that affect hir breathing. When asked whom V wanted to text, he chose Yeontan.

10. New Year’s goals

What does V have in mind for 2022? He wants to stay healthy and write good songs for ARMYs. He also wants to shoot a music video for fans. Of course, he looks forward to spending more days with the ARMY next year.
