The K-Pop world is shaken by bullying allegations these days. Stray Kids Hyunjin was accused by a netizen of bullying and violence at school. JYP Entertainment has scrutinized the rumors of bullying.
Netizen’s claims about Hyunjin:
I didn’t expect Hwang Hyunjin to debut as an idol and be loved and supported by many people. It sounded like a joke when I was younger, but I am someone who suffers from school violence at Hyunjin’s hands. As I said before, I never thought he would be an idol, so I didn’t collect any evidence. I only have the testimonies of the school we went to, my memories and my friends.
I could forget the hell I went through if he wasn’t famous. However, since Hyunjin debuted as an idol, memories haunt me every time I see him on TV.
There are two reasons Hyunjin was trying to bully me in the class group chat at the time. First, I don’t ask him to close the classroom door when he sits in the back row. The second one is my friend who is not in the school meal plan and therefore has to take part in order to have lunch. Hyunjin didn’t like this situation and criticized my friend. I said to my friend, ‘I don’t like that you have too much for lunch. You are the reason why other students cannot have lunch. “
Netizen said Hyunjin would criticize him for being part of her discounted lunch option. But that was not all of the charges. Netizen also accused Hyunjin of many of his other actions that he did not explain in detail.
JYP Entertainment said they are reviewing the anonymous netizen bullying accusation report.
Hyunjin was again accused of bullying in 2018. However, the allegations were unfounded and JYP did not confirm the allegations. Hyunjin schoolmates stated that Hyunjin was grappling with false rumors against him and that he was a brilliant student whom he trusted by his classmates.
