According to the statement made by Red Velvet’s affiliate SM Entertainment, Red Velvet will be making a comeback with a new album in August. The statement reads: “Red Velvet is currently preparing a new album to make a comeback in August. Please wait for them.”
Red Velvet last made a comeback with “Psycho” 1.5 years ago. Red Velvet’s song “Psycho” was well received. The reason the group waited so long to return was primarily due to Wendy’s face and hip fractures after falling off the stage in preparation for the SBS New Year performance. While Wendy was expected to recover, Irene had problems with her stylist. Fortunately, Joy returned with the single “Hello” in the past weeks. Meanwhile, Irene and Seulgi’s “Monster” was also very popular. Although it took a long time for them to come back as a full group, the members of the group always kept working.
