JYP Entertainment will form a new boy group through “Nizi Project 2”, which they will be co-running with Sony Music Japan. At a press conference on July 12, JYP Entertainment’s J.Y. Park and Sony Music Japan CEO Muramatsu Shunsuke have announced that they will be teaming up to produce a new boy group.
This will be the second attempt by JYP Entertainment and Sony Music to join hands to form an idol group. These two companies jointly supported Japanese girl group NiziU in the first season of “Nizi Project”.
Our big brother JY Park, I find very successful in terms of girl groups, can obviously be crooked when it comes to boy groups. His betrayals to GOT7, his exile of Stray Kids’ Hyunjin, …. He has a bit of an almost criminal-like track record, frankly.
