Besides being the master of hearts, BTS also became the rightful pride of Korea! BTS visited the Blue House ahead of their diplomatic trip abroad with Korean President Moon Jae In. BTS will accompany the president as special envoys in New York for the 76th United Nations General Assembly (UNGA). In July, BTS was appointed to this prestigious position by South Korean President Moon Jae In. In one of the photos BTS shared on their official Twitter account, the members show the red diplomatic passports they received at the Blue House.
According to the Korean Passport Law, these diplomatic passports are only issued to the president, special envoys, members of the government, and other people in high-ranking positions. BTS became the pride of both ARMYs and South Korea, as in the title “BTS SOUTH KOREA’S PRIDE”, which has reached close to 1 million posts on TWitter.
Seven members of BTS await their turn for President Moon Jae In to present the “Special Presidential Envoy for Future Generations and Culture” certificate at the Blue House.
The President shook hands with each member as the BTS members received their certificates one by one. Alongside the handshake, J-Hope also gave the president a sweet all-good sign!
