STRAY KIDS Bang Chan talked about his close friendship with SEVENTEEN Vernon. On episode 113 of Stray Kids Bang Chan’s special vlive show “Chan’s Room”, SEVENTEEN talked about how his close friendship with Vernon began.
While contemplating a TMI (too much information) moment to share with his fans, Bang Chan thought of his friend Vernon. Bang Chan remembered how a friend of the same age from the M.O.L.A team introduced them.
“Actually I didn’t know Vernon was a year younger than me. I got to know him through JAIME, so I thought we were the same age.”
Bang Chan shared that Vernon and friends of the same age typically greet each other as they do. He continued, “I thought he was from the ’97 too, so we’re friends. So we talked informally and we’re very, very close. Then I realized he was a year younger than me. .”
Bang Chan was taken aback by this and his reaction was: “Wait! What?”. However, the age difference and the respectful way of talking to each other due to the age difference did not change their friendship. They still continued to address each other as close friends.
There’s already an age difference of over six. We don’t seem to have a problem :)
