TWICE is a hugely popular, successful group; they even are called “National Kpop Girl Group” in Korea! But when we dig deeper into the band’s history, we see a never-ending story.
Before TWICE debuted, they would debut under the group 6mix, which consists of six members, including group members Nayeon, Jeongyeon, Jihyo, Sana, and two others named Lena and Cecilia. However, the plan was canceled due to Lena and Cecilia leaving the group.
The roots of 6mix were formed by the friendship trio of members of the pre-debut group 6mix called 3mix. This trio of Nayeon, Jeongyeon, and Jihyo has turned 11 years as of now.
The three of them had overcome many obstacles together before debuting. This led them to a strong bond of friendship.
As a matter of fact, we can inevitably sense that the relationship between these three is a little closer due to this common past. These three trust each other the most. They still have their own unique friendship bracelets that they wear. All three are vocalists. They play the collective defense collective attack game very well! Interestingly, they each have a sister named Soyeon. He has knitted the webs of fate so much :)
Since Nayeon and Jeongyeon have known Jihyo the longest due to their 3mix backgrounds, only they know how shy Jihyo is.
