Stray Kids set a record for JYP Entertainment with their second full album of 14 tracks, released on August 23, 2021, with “million sales” on GAON as of August 31. The boss of the agency, J. Y. Park himself had previously achieved the highest sales figure from this agency with 830,000 copies of “Tantara”.
Stray Kids became the first group to reach million sales among 4th generation Kpop groups.
The band members contributed to the writing and production of many songs in the album.
The album also reached 642 thousand on the Hanteo Chart, which is 410 thousand higher than the sum of the last two albums (GO LIVE and IN LIFE)!
As of August 31, the album’s lead single, Thunderous, has also surpassed 50 million views on Youtube.
