A total of 10 K-Pop agencies this year, including four major entertainment agencies SM , YG , JYP and BigHit Entertainment have been reported to release new K-Pop girl or boy groups in 2021.
Examples of popular boy bands affiliated to Big Hit Entertainment include BTS , TXT and ENHYPEN. Of SM Entertainment ‘s favorite bands, EXO , NCT and Red Velvet are just a few. YG Entertainment means BIGBANG and BLACKPINK. Examples of JYP Entertainment’s well-known groups: TWICE , ITZY and Stray Kids .
As we just entered 2021, the first news of rookie idol group came from MLD Entertainment. MLD Entertainment has released the debut posters of a male K-Pop group named T1419 .
It was revealed that SM, YG, JYP, and BigHit Entertainment will also be announcing plans to launch new idol groups soon.
SM Entertainment was planning to start a new boy band separate from the NCT universe. Both YG and BigHit Entertainment were planning to form new girl groups in 2021. JYP Entertainment had plans for two rookie boy groups, one in Korea and the other in China.
