The Korean Business Research Institute has revealed this month’s individual brand reputation rankings for girl group members. The rankings were determined by analyzing the consumer participation, media coverage, communication and community awareness indexes of 540 girl group members , using big data collected between April 16 – May 16, 2021 .
Brave Girls Yujeong topped the list this month with a brand reputation index of 4,053,785 for May. High-ranking phrases in the keyword analysis included “Rollin”, “Squirtle Yujeong” and “climb back up”, while the highest ranking related terms were “model”, “happy” and “grateful”.
Brave Girls Yuna climbed to second place in May with a brand reputation index of 3,344,631. This rise of the Brave Girls group seems to have pushed BLACKPINK members down.
BLACKPINK Jennie ranked third with a brand reputation index of 3,338,855. Oh My Girl Arin is ranked 3,280,008 fourth and ITZY Yuna fifth, with a score close to Jennie. Other ITZY members are ranked in the top 10 due to their “Mafia” songs and their smooth choreographic performances. Collaborating with the latest major jewelry brand Tiffany’s, Rosé ranks 10th.
