JYP Entertainment announced that Stray Kids Hyunjin will be returning to Stray Kids activities in early July after 4 months of rest. Stray Kids fans STAYs, who saw Stary Kids member Hyunjin in the music video of Stray Kids’ surprise single “OH”, released at midnight on June 26, showed their happiness by sharing on social media. It was such a joy to see Stray Kids as 8 members again.
An official statement came from JYP Entertainment afterward, saying, “During his hiatus, Hyunjin made donations and participated in volunteer work. Hyunjin will be rejoining Stray Kids’ scheduled events from July and will be even more upbeat during her promotions. He plans to display an attitude and a mature mindset”.
To briefly summarize the reason why Hyunjin has been away from promotions for 4 months, it was after one of his middle school classmates accused him of verbally bullying during his school days and posted it on social media. All of Hyunjin’s activities have been temporarily suspended. According to JYP Entertainment, two former classmates resolved the misunderstanding after Hyunjin met with her accuser and apologized.
