EVERGLOW has been silent for almost 40 days. Group members Sihyeon and Yiren had a positive result for COVID-19 in the test they entered on December 1, 2020, and there was no sound from the group again (details here). It took 40 days for them to fully recover!
Normally, the recovery period from COVID-19 is considered to be two weeks. However, Korean authorities do not allow you to leave the isolation without getting a negative result from the test several times in a row if you test positive in the beginning. Since there is a risk of permanent damage to the lungs; their agency did not want to tire them before the girls were fully recovered. Thus, 40 days passed in isolation.
It was also announced that the group will resume activities.
