On April 6, Billboard released its latest charts, and during the week ending April 10, BTS’s long-topping hit “Dynamite” was ranked 30th on the Billboard’s Hot 100 (Billboard Hot 100, all genres in the US).

As Dynamite spent its 32nd week on the list, BTS now officially broke PSY’s Hot 100 record for the longest-listed song by a Korean artist. PSY had a 31-week record with the legendary 2012 hit “Gangnam Style”. PSY had been holding the record for nearly seven years. BTS broke PSY’s record.

In addition, “Dynamite” , the first song of a Korean artist / artist group to hit the Hot 100 list in August 2020, has never dropped below the top 50 since its release.

On the Digital Song Sales chart, “Dynamite” spent its non-consecutive 18th week at number 1. Thus, he broke the 17-week first-place record for Luis Fonsi and Daddy Yankee’s hit song “Despacito” .

Congratulations to BTS on their historic achievements!
