Miyawaki Sakura is thought to be coming to Korea to be the new girl group member to be released by Source Music under HYBE. One of the reasons that proves this is that the bodyguard of HYBE’s star group BTS picked up Sakura from the airport!
On August 27, Korean media reported that the former IZ*ONE member arrived at Incheon International Airport in Seoul and was escorted to the airport by the HYBE security team responsible for protecting BTS. Journalists who saw the security stated that Sakura was completely under protection.
HYBE said, “We can’t confirm anything about Miyawaki Sakura’s arrival in Korea and the BTS security team,” but Miyawaki Sakura’s representatives confirmed this with the words, “Miyawaki Sakura signed a contract with HYBE and will be leaving Japan in August. She is gonna move to Korea.”
Miyawaki Sakura and Kim Chae Won are reportedly joining a new girl group under Source Music that will include 2-3 ex-members of IZ*ONE. Below is the video of Sakura arriving from the airport:
